Released in late 1998, Link's Awakening blossomed into Color! Link's Awakening (1993) was the first Handheld Legend of Zelda game. Using Mechanics and some equipment similiar to "A Link to the Past", it was considered to be a direct sequel at the time (and could still be).  Timeline theories find this game hard to place due to not taking place in Hyrule and being very vague on anything outside it's own story. Link's Awakening introduced a few characters that would inspire future regular characters in the Zelda universe. It is thought that Marin and her father inspired Malon and Talon from Ocarina of Time and Marin could have potentially inspired the love of Seagulls from Aryll in WindWaker. This is the first Legend of Zelda game LP'd at RetroDaily, with Aaron making his first appearance. This Let's Play is a 100% run (All Hearts/Equipment.)  Fun Fact: This is the first Let's Play RetroDaily completed.
